Anti decay effect of fluoride application is attributed to the benefits of flourine. It alters the decay by remineralization of the tooth surface and also has proven cariostatic effect (stops the growth of caries).
Uneven tooth morphology such as pits and fissures make the tooth surface more prone to decay. For healthy white teeth prevention of such decay is requisite. Application of anti decay material in the form of varnishes or gels over these uneven pits and fissures does not allow the bacteria to sustain. Application can be repeated if required.
INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW POST APPLICATION:
1.Do not brush or floss for 4-6 hours.963.*-
2.Soft food is recommended for the next 24 hrs.
